I am at 16. A little behind schedule, but I'm still pleased with my efforts.
Here are my Top 5 recommendations so far. I consider all of these books a MUST READ.
1) Hearing the Voice of the Lord by Gerald Lund

Great book on revelation and the gospel. I think everyone (especially members of the LDS church) should read this book.
2) Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand

I absolutely loved this book. It's about the world. I loved the heroes of this book and the principles it teaches.
3) Born to Run by Christopher McDougall

This book blew my mind. I read it faster than any other book this year because I couldn't put it down. Everyone should read this book. Even if you don't run! The subtitle tells you what the book is about- "A hidden tribe, superathletes, and the greatest race the world has never seen."
4) Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis

Talk about an insightful individual. Lewis is one of the greatest Christian writers of all time. He lays doctrine down in a very logical fashion. If you want to know how to lead a better life, you should read this book.
5) The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis

Yet again, another extremely insightful book on the tactics of the adversary. It helped me to realize how often we are tempted (and make the wrong choices) and don't even realize it.
